BACTEC has been providing unexploded ordnance (UXO), landmine clearance and bomb disposal services globally since 1991 and to date has carried out Unexploded Ordnance disposal EOD contracts in over 45 countries.

BACTEC's Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Landmine Action projects include: the detection and disposal of Unexploded Ordnance, Landmine Clearance, Site Investigation including Geotechnical Surveys and Geophysical Surveys, Marine Risk Assessments and Marine Surveys, QA/QC, Risk Assessment, EOD Training and equipment provision consultancy.

BACTEC provide high quality, independent specialist services on all matters relating to explosive ordnance contamination. Clients include governments, specialist units of the MoD, the UN, EC, DFID, NATO, multi nationals including the oil, gas and construction industries; also working with local and international organisations and companies.

BACTEC has extensive experience with land and marine surveys, investigation, consultancy, landmine clearance training and clearance of land contaminated with unexploded ordnance including bombs and landmines; BACTEC operates both on land and underwater.
