BACTEC Operations in the Far East

BACTEC has operations throughout South East Asia including Cambodia, Vietnam, Philippines, Taiwan, South Pacific Islands and Lao PDR. The operations now have their regional base in Sydney, Australia but also have offices in Lao PDR, Cambodia and the Philippines.

BACTEC has just moved into a new office facility in Vientiane to support its operations in Lao which includes UXO Clearance and Support for Lang Xang Minerals Limited (a subsidiary of Oxiana Limited), a gold and copper mine and also Salamander Resources, an oil exploration company.

The office is staffed by local and Expat staff including Alan Mckeown the Operations Manager, Carolyn Mckeown the Office Manager and two local office staff, Nouk and Nok. The Managing Director of the Lao operations is Timothy Pippett who is based in Sydney but spends considerable time in Lao and Cambodia.
