square metres, using both BACTEC and locally trained manual
clearance teams in conjunction with the UAE military field
engineers all trained by BACTEC in the clearance operation.
Over 40000 mines and items of ordnance were found and disposed
of.
Taiwan -
Over 1 million square metres of beach mine fields, reinforced
with aircraft bombs. Enabling a power station, harbour and
commercial airfield development on previously mined areas.
