Risk Education is invaluable in alerting the community
at risk to the threat from mines and ordnance.
MRE by itself can significantly reduce
the number of injuries and deaths from mines and UXO
and should be a community based project.
It can be carried out either as a stand-alone programme
conducted by trained staff, or as an integral part of a clearance
programme run by the Project Team. |
